All Chronic Disease Is On The Rise
The greatest nation on earth is also the unhealthiest nation on earth and the rest of the world is catching up fast.

No matter where you live, you are more and more likely to be personally affected by the following statistics:

There has been a 76% increase in Type II diabetes in adults 30-40 years old since 1990. One in three Americans now develops food allergies. One in three Americans will develop cancer.

According to Dr. Bernard Jensen, this rapid rise in degenerative disease was originally linked to the farm.

“By the 1930's, most of the ‘cream’ had been skimmed off of American soils, and diminished crops of mineral-dificient vegetables, fruits, and grains began to appear. Interestingly, chronic, degenerative diseases began to escalate at this time, as well arthritis, diabetes, cancer, lupus, osteoporosis, and dental caries.”

The World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledges that changes in the way farms were fertilized and the move to hybrid crops has caused dangerous consequences for human health. According to the WHO:

"The concentration of trace elements in plants, and the consequent levels of dietary intake by man are influenced by the type of soil on which the plants are produced and the type and quality of fertilizer applied, and by the species and variety of plants grown.... Changes in fertilizer practice or in the types of plants grown, as a result of... plant breeding... can therefore influence the trace element composition of the foods that comprise man's daily diet....

"It is important to recognize that... changes in agricultural practice can change trace element intakes by man in ways which may be hazardous to human health." World Health Organization, R. Masironi, ed., Trace Elements in Relation to Cardiovascular Disease (Geneva: WHO, 1974), 39-40.

There Is A Simple Solution To Most Of This Suffering
The good news is that even relatively "mineral-dificient vegetables, fruits, and grains" will decrease disease risk when included in the diet in greater quantity, especially in "whole food" form.

Now imagine what a diet that included at least some super high level phytochemical fruits and vegetables could do to reduce your risk of chronic degenrative diseases?

Some might consider that mighty cheap and effective health insurance—far better than expensive sick-care insurance alone!
